THE MELANCHOLY MIND
The melancholy mind makes mixed emotions;
Merging with our awareness- blurred thought!
Mixing with feelings of belated sorrow
Thinking things that might have been;
But could not be in the movies' inconsistencies.
That ever invading loneliness- not the absence
Of personal interaction but the lack of understanding.
How the blue wave engulfs my being- a surge of feeling-
To damper my soul in wet imaginings- soaked illusions-
Immersing my spirit in the shadowy bogs
And gushy mire of emotional attachment!
Oh, for the strength to make the spirit ascend
High above worldly emotional mist,
To higher levels of conscience and awareness,
The ecstasy of free flowing Spirit,
Flying, floating and spinning in ethereal bliss,
High above the pleasure pain dilemma
Of the melancholy mind!!!!!!!
