They are: eyes of gods, sky diamonds!
Rampage on marauding imagination!
Marvelous lights on high!
An awesome celestial spectacle!
Today we have science, which tell us much about stars.
Billions of miles away, gigantic gushing, gaseous masses,
Fuming fiery flames, flashing fusion-
Granting light and heat to us all.
Here on earth things stink- they just plain stink!
Hunger, disease, war, and pollution engulf us!
We blindly grope in materiality- slaves to our desires.
Vainly trying to cope with forces beyond our control.
But Stars are Suns in their own right.
An infinite number of worlds revolving-
Around an infinite number of Suns!
A universe where life abounds
In every form imaginable!
Even planets and stars may be alive!
May our soul and spirit thrive in
In this perpetual bio-soup!
Evolving, Evolving, Evolving.......
