Why do I have to go to school today?
Why do I have to clean my room?
Why do I have to go to bed?
Why doesn't daddy come home?
I love him so much!
Why can't I have a puppy?

Why is the question that philosophers ask:
Why do we struggle through pain and anxiety?
Why can't we understand the mysteries of life and death?
Why are human beings so self- destructive?
Why can't we really care about each other?
Why are the beauties & truth of life so transitory?
Slipping though our comprehension
Reflecting moments of ecstasy!
Rarely understood or appreciated.
Why? Why? Why?
Why is the question that I ask myself:
Why can I never achieve the potential of the love I feel inside.
Why am I perplexed, struggling to survive?
Why am I intoxicated and deluded by the diversions engulfing me?
Why do I not understand what truly matters? Why am I preoccupied by illusion?
Never to meet my potential!
Why don't I do what must be done?
